Lanark County Warden's Golf Tournament

We are pleased to share that planning is underway for the annual Warden's Golf Tournament in support of Lanark County Youth Centres. The tournament is scheduled to take place on August 23, 2024 at Mapleview Golf and Country Club.

This year's tournament will be proudly supporting Lanark County Youth Centres. Lanark County Youth Centres provide important social, educational, and recreational programming, services, and community participation to enhance the well-being of local youth.  Tournament Information

Date: Friday, August 23, 2024

Location: Mapleview Golf & Country Club, 2856 Scotch Line 

Fee: $150 (includes green fees, cart, lunch and dinner)

Format: Shotgun Start

 

Tournament Itinerary:

  • 11:30 a.m. Registration and Lunch BBQ
  • 12:30 p.m. Shotgun Start
  • 5:00 p.m. Social Hour and Silent Auction Opens
  • 6:00 p.m. Dinner
  • 7:00 p.m. Silent Auction Closes

Teams will be made up of four golfers. Please note, you will be placed in a foursome if you register individually. There will be prizes, a silent auction and hole challenges.

There are a number of options for the 2024 Warden's Golf Tournament:

  • 18 Holes | Cart | Lunch | Supper ($150 per golfer)
  • 18 Holes | Cart | Lunch ($100 per golfer)
  • Dinner Only ($45 per person)

Youth Centres play an important role in our community by:

  • Providing opportunities for youth to take part in recreational, cultural, and vocational activities;
  • Helping youth develop physical, social, emotional, and cognitive abilities;
  • Offer a safe space for youth to connect with others facing similar experiences and challenges;
  • Play a preventative role by supporting young people in difficult circumstances.

 

Lanark County Youth Centres saw over 10,000 visits in 2023.

 

You can support this worthwhile cause by sponsoring a hole ($150) or lunch ($1,300) or by providing an item donation that could be used as a prize or silent auction item.

Sponsorship and item donation recognition includes:

  • Company sign at one tee off area on the course (for hole sponsors only)
  • Recognition on the County's Facebook Page the week before and after the tournament
  • Acknowledgement in Tournament handout as a sponsor with company log.
