Translation - Explanation and Caution

The County of Lanark is offering text and website translation services provided by Google Translate™, a free service currently offering over 50 languages. Our goal is to assist English as a Second Language (ESL) users with a way to understand the programs, services, and information provided by Lanark County.

Please note that NOT all text may be translated correctly or be translated at all. You agree that when a translation is complete, you assume the risk of any inaccuracies, errors, and omissions therein. You agree that the County of Lanark shall NOT be held responsible or liable for any damages or losses that may result from your reliance upon or use of Google Translate™.

To all of our clients in Social Services:
We understand this is a difficult time for everyone and want to assure you that our staff are here for you and will ensure that your basic needs are met.  Your April monthly payment for Ontario Works recipients will go out as usual.  Our staff have been planning for emergency measures to ensure that the basic needs of our community are met.  Our offices are restricted for walk in traffic to emergency situations only so please do not visit our office but rather call between 8:30-4 at 613-267-4200 or toll free 1-888-952-6275 and someone will be happy to assist you.  Additionally, we have an email address you may use for questions you may have at ss@lanarkcounty.ca

Lanark County is the Municipal Service Manager responsible for the administration of Social Services in our area. It manages programs for Ontario Works, Children’s Services, Social Housing, Developmental Support Services and other community programs.

Lanark County offers a variety of programs and services to families and individuals that require support.

All services are provided at our main administration building at 99 Christie Lake Road, Perth, ON, however please check Contacts & Locations for Satellite office service and hours of operation.
