Ontario Works and How it Can Help You?

Ontario Works provides temporary financial and employment assistance, also known as social assistance, for people who are in financial need. If you are experiencing trouble meeting your basic needs you may qualify for Ontario Works, which provides three types of assistance:

• Financial Assistance: Help with the essential costs of living (food, clothing and shelter costs)
• Benefits: Benefits for yourself and your family, including drug coverage
• Person Centered Supports
